hey you in Toronto?

in my cross country adventure I have seen a lot, and I almost forgot my CUBE CROSSING in Toronto!  Who was it? While driving into Downtown Toronto on July 8th, I was travelling west along Front st. and came at the cross intersection with another BLUE CUBE!  We waved, and stopped traffic at rush hour.  Was it another winner??

6000km of Road Music

Happy one year anniversary CUBE!  I just arrived in Victoria, BC after 6000km of driving from MONTREAL.  Lots of photos and stories to post SOON.  But firstly, I can not stop listening to this song.  I discovered it from Pitchfork's top 100 songs of the year.  So now....the new summer Cube Schedule: crank "Golden Phone" and bounce around while driving with the windows down.....I *heart* "Micahu and the Shapes".  Happy Birthday CUBE.

AIR CONDITIONING???? please

hey Cubers, is it just me, or is the Air Conditioner totally useless?  I dont want to bad-mouth the beloved CUBE, but I recently drove down to NY, and for anyone who has been on the New Jersey Pikeline driving into Manhattan at rush hour in the summer heat, it is FRICKING STRESS-HELL!!!  I had a car full of people, no clue of what exit to take, huge trucks and cars were whizzing by honking and there was no AIR FLOW what-so-ever.  I was sweating buckets and we had to roll all the windows down just to breath, which added chaotic traffic noise to the already peaking stress levels overflowing in the car.  Did I miss something in the manual?  Is it broken?  With the "auto" setting, cranked to max it goes down to 18 degrees, but still....no air flow. When I have air circulation from outside, there is some air, only while driving, which does not help if you are at standstill in traffic.  HELP?! Anyone else?  Must admit, it was super fun to drive into NY City with the CUBE!  Music blasting!  But cool air would have been.....cool.   MORE STORIES SOON.

Île d'Orléans et la ville de Québec

Artist Arthur Desmarteaux and I were recently invited for a 2 week residency at Engramme Print Studios in Quebec City. Here are more photos.  The picturesque road tour in the CUBE! www.looper.ca

If you squint...you can see the cube in the background...oh, and the St. Lawerence River, too.

LOBSTER FEAST!  CUBE delivered 9 beautiful fresh lobster to the feast.  Incidentally, handy storage compartments makes for great aquarium, with minimal splashing.
