IT'S ROAD TRIP TIME! yep... going to Montreal. I so can't wait. It's gonna be awesome to finally meet some of our french speaking amigos! rad.

I've still been knitting like a mad woman. My latest knitting obsession are arm/finger warmers. i like them cause they're super easy and fast to knit. I find that i get knitting A.D.D sometimes... so these, are PERFECT for me! lol here's the first one I made from scratch:

My goal is to make them in EVERY color i can find :)

In other news, i got a new pet for my Bday!! Now along with my awesome winter mats for the cube, and the shag... i got THIS:

It's a Dead Pet, cause you know... even dead animals need love too!!! ha!

The second i got it out of the wrapping paper, i knew where it was gonna go. It now has a permanent home on my shag carpeting! I personally think it's hilarious :

Lucky for me, i have awesome friends. The second they see anything, and i mean anything associated with the Cube, they send it my way. It's pretty damn awesome.

How cool... paper Cubes!!!

Here's something most of you may not know. The Cube is my first car. Yep, that's right... it's insane. Not only do I love the fact that I can get myself anywhere i need to faster... but i love the fact that i can cruise.

Cruising has to be my favorite thing to do... i'm not stressed about traffic, cause really, i'm not in a rush to go anywhere. I love cranking my fave songs, which as of recently has been the whole Misfits box set... rolling down the windows... feeling the wind on my face... it's awesome.

I love that if i'm stressed, i can hop in the car, not worry about asking if i can borrow the hubby's car... not worried about if i have to return it... and just cruise.

I know that to a lot of people, driving is a chore. To me... it's bliss.

Another reason i dont mind traffic anymore is because it's allowed me to have MANY a conversation with people about the Cube. It's quite hilarious when someone asks you to roll down your window so they can ask about what you're driving.

Man, just like that... where did summer go?! It's been a while since i've posted... BUT i have been a very busy girl!!! Let's try and get all the updates in the right order now... lol

first things first... since winning, i've wanted to do something to help people. Something good happened to me, so i want to "pay it forward". Long story short (all the deets are in my new blog) I've commited to knitting as many things as possible for a whole year, then selling everything and donating the money to Cancer Reasearch. So, tomorrow night i will have the lovely pleasure of going to my good friends stagette. Seeing as i dont drink much, i'm always the default DD. For once, i was actually excited about being the DD cause we could cruise in the Cube, windows down, 80's playlist going... i could picture it all now! But alas, there will be a limo to escort us ladies around... i'm not complaining... BUT the Cube would be WAY more fun!!!

hmmmm... maybe i can talk them into letting the Cube "lead" the limo... hmmmm
