Artist Arthur Desmarteaux and I were recently invited for a 2 week residency at Engramme Print Studios in Quebec City. We stayed right in the heart of the artist community in the Centre Meduse which straddles the new and old city. The cube was instrumental in trasporting all our inks, papers and materials from Montreal. CUBE also came in handy for last minute runs for Lobsters for a feast at the Chambre Blanche!  Lobster tank in the CUBE!

Day one.

The looper cube is in full force!
After long anticipation, I now have my cube on the road.  It is so WEIRD!
I went to the Nissan Campus dealership in Victoria. They had balloons and my beautiful blue Cube was waiting in the show room.  My parents and grandma were there - three generations of NISSANS!  wow.  
I filled the paper work...easy!  And then filled it with gas and tried the back up beep test.  so cooooool.  It is such a toy.  no key.  Just a big orange button to START.  I feel like i could pick it up and hug it, it is so tiny and cute.  Maybe I will keep it under my pillow.  Then I got the woofer working, hooked up the ipod and gave my grandma a ride home listening to MIA.  That bass rocks.  I am on galiano island teaching film classes now.  
Every single student is *like, WTF MAN! That CaR is EPIC! i cant believe you won that!
