Hey cube community!

I had a great night Saturday doing VJ at the [sat] society of art and technology in Montreal. Ce weekend, le cube m'a amenée à Montréal, où j'ai pu participer à mon premier souper des 2Capricieux. Ce couple de foodies montréalais, dont le blogue est vraiment intéressant et bien garni, organisent des soirées thématiques dans leur demeure (la dernière se déroulait sous le drapeau du Japon). Environ 40 personnes s'y rendent par soir, et tout le monde est invité à participer, que ce soit pour le service ou la préparation des plats. Ce fut une excellente occasion de rencontrer plein de gens (notamment des gens avec qui je n'avais discuté que sur Twitter) - et on a vraiment très bien mangé!

IT'S ROAD TRIP TIME! yep... going to Montreal. I so can't wait. It's gonna be awesome to finally meet some of our french speaking amigos! rad.

I've still been knitting like a mad woman. My latest knitting obsession are arm/finger warmers. i like them cause they're super easy and fast to knit. I find that i get knitting A.D.D sometimes... so these, are PERFECT for me! lol here's the first one I made from scratch:

My goal is to make them in EVERY color i can find :)

In other news, i got a new pet for my Bday!! Now along with my awesome winter mats for the cube, and the shag... i got THIS:

It's a Dead Pet, cause you know... even dead animals need love too!!! ha!

The second i got it out of the wrapping paper, i knew where it was gonna go. It now has a permanent home on my shag carpeting! I personally think it's hilarious :

K, i'm off to go charge my camera's, pack some clothes, and get ready for the road trip tomorrow!!!!

Hope everyone has a great trip out to Montreal. Wish I was going, but then again in a week I'm escaping the cold before it hits and road trippin down to Florida! woo hoo!

I'm going to spend about a week there, not including the drive, driving down I'm making a few stops, taking it easy, checking out some Universities (i'm applying to Graduate School).

I can't wait to get down there, I hope the water is warm enough for a swim in the Gulf of Mexico.
