Trip To PEI

My first road trip!!! Went camping in PEI - Red Point. Unfortunatly I did not get to cube it up with Mark from PEI, My bb died and couldnt figure out where he would be. But i kept my eye out for a cube on our trip.
Here are some photos from the camping part of the trip. This is where the cube has taken me so far! i <3 cubes!

Here is our camp site :D

Wind turbinds! :D

So, Bill didn't come. But, here comes his brother Danny!

I have always been interested in the weather. The more extreme it is, the more I am glued to it. Though I don't think I will go tornado chasing anytime soon, a hurricane is pretty easy to drive into.

Hurricane Bill came and went. All bark and no bite. That doesn't mean we are out of the woods on the east coast just yet though.

Here comes Danny!

Hurricane Bill won't deter my cube

Bill, Bill, go away! Come back another day during the week so I can have a day off from work!I absolutely love living in Atlantic Canada. Hurricanes are part of life here, just like deep winter snows and lobster fresh from the wharf.

This weekend it looks like there is a chance we will be getting hit by Hurricane Bill. There is something addicting about being inside the eye of a storm. So, if I have a chance, the Cube will be right in the middle of it with a camera on record.

Here's to hoping :)

The cube has landed in PEI

Getting to sleep is not the easiest after a large triple-triple from Tim Hortons and a brand new car waiting for you the following morning.

I've been working some pretty late nights because of external events conflicting with my work during the day. Last night, after filling myself with coffee and donuts and coding for a few hours, I got home at around midnight. It was nice to finally fall into my bed and sleep...or at least try to.

The last time I had checked the clock it said 1:30am.

La-la land wasn't all that memorable. What was memorable was how I woke up at 6:30am in the morning. I had left my bedroom window closest to my bed open during the night. As luck would have it, a lot of rain came down during the night, and it seemed like half a fjord had been dumped on my face.

A first post and a thanks to everyone!

First of all, I want to say what a stressful - yet wonderful - three months this has been.
