Well we just got back from our East coast road trip a week ago. Lots of great sights to see and Cube winners to hangout with. I posted pics on my facebook page if yanyone is interested in viewing.

The Cube did amazing on this trip. It's really great on road trips, it even did amazing when we went camping and did a bit of off roading. I did a lot of sleeping in the Cube, so the comfort factor was good too. There are plenty more trips planned in the months to come.

It was really great to be able to see a few Cube winners along the way. I hope we can all meet up again soon. Anyone is welcome to visit TO to hangout with us as well.

Every year the Drupal community has two conferences.  One in North America and another in Europe.  This week Drupalcon (as the event is called) is being held in Paris where they announced that Drupalcon 2010 will be held in San Francisco California.

As you may have gathered during the contest I am a Drupal nerd and my plan was (and still is) to cover my Cube in Druplicons (the Drupal mascot) to promote Drupal.  Part of my plan was also to drive my Cube to the next Drupalcon in North America regardless of where it was.  Lucky for me it will be in sunny California and clear across the continent making for a very long and fun road trip.

Well it's finally time for my first official road trip with the Cube. I'm just heading up to the cottage now, I can't wait to take the Cube on those country roads. We're all packed and ready to go.

So it's been about 2 weeks of me being the proud owner of the cube... and it is so beyond awesome that i cant even explain. Being able to come and go as i please... no more stinky bus rides with creepy men following me off of it... man... so awesome... it all still seems so dream like. This pic i took the other night pretty well sums up how giddy and free and awesome i feel:

In other news.... i got pulled over for the first time today. I have NEVER been pulled over. EVER. I almost lost my breakfast over it. I pull over, sit there waiting roll down my window and the officer says "Hi there, what kind of car is this and what is a hypercube?" at first i thought it was all a joke... i asked him if i was in trouble for anything and he lauged and appologized for scaring the pants off of me. After that, i got out of the car and gave hime the 360 tour. He LOVED it!!!! lol as if that happened to me... i asked to take a pic and asked that i not seeing as he was on duty... oh well....
