Cube Rusting already!!
Submitted by ambah on February 23rd, 2010
Hello fellow cube owners.
I have owned my white cube since October 09 and I love it!!! I recently met another white cube owner and she told me her white cube was having surface rust all over - sure enough I looked and my car was covered as well. They are little rust spots covering the car. I have taken it to my dealership and they compounded the vehicle and removed the rust - however it is back again. I do live where it snows, but my car is washed and well kept for and I don't think this should be happening on a brand new car - is anyone else having this problem - white cubes or other colour cubes?
- cubecommunity: Vacaying in Vancouver this week so twitter's a bit quiet. But cubespotting all over! http://yfrog.com/mz86498166j

- cubecommunity: So potential animal cruelty issues aside, don't you sort of want a panda dog? Maybe? No? Yeah you're right it's awful. http://ht.ly/2xmrl

Hi I too have noticed rust like spots on my cube. People have told me that they are from brake dust. I am not sure....I drive a green cube.
Its called fallout. You need to go buy a clay bar to remove it out of the paint surface, or it cant be rail dust that hot brake dust hitting your paint. Do you park next to a train track? Well I hope I solve your problem.
