#eastcoastcube camping trip from the easterner perspective

During the Labour Day long weekend, Rannie and Jasin came down east for a little trip. Rannie, tagging it the #eastcoastcube camping trip on Twitter, provided a constant flow of information online (when he had cell phone service) and all three of us shot a ton of photos and some video (which i am still working on).

Below are a few of my favourite shots from the trip. You can see all of them in the gallery.

While we were still in PEI we decided to try to take some pictures down by the water. We found a country lane with some cottages and parked the cars right along side the shore.

And while we were there Rannie did one of his famous pano shots.

The next day we drove to the ferry to Nova Scotia. Along the way we encountered this field covered in a thin sheet of low lying fog. It is hard to see in the small version but it is such a great shot.

Parked, waiting for the ferry, and the sun comes up just before we are to board.

On the Cabot Trail we saw a sign for a provincial picnic park. Pretty sure we got lost in one of the most surprisingly beautiful areas we could find.

We found a guard rail at one of the many look-offs along the Cabot Trail that seems to get signed by everyone. Jasin whipped out a Sharpie and Lil' G sticker and we all signed it.

There is a hairpin right before the climb over Cape Smokey. We parked the Cubes in the run off area and shot a lot of pictures here.

An interesting angle from another of the look-offs.

As I said before, there are some other great shots in the gallery so take a look!

Montreal is going to be an awesome trip. I am going to see if I can borrow some lenses for the trip and play around a bit with some shots. We should walk around the city for an hour or so and just shoot random stuff.
