SOCIAL MEDIA CHANGED MY LIFE.

question for all cubies!

i know i haven't blogged in a bit... the holidays, work (the Economic Action Plan is driving me insane) and stuff... i know it isn't a valid excuse, but still! my cube is still going strong, just hit 11 000 km... and i love it to bits!

i just wanted to know if your dealership considered your cube as a car or as a suv/truck/van when it came to maintenance charges? i had to somewhat argue with them (some people there considered it as a suv, some didn't)... and i'm none too pleased.

there's more interesting stuff to follow, i swear! just not yet :P

take care cubies.

rockcliffe book fair

Last weekend I went to Rockcliffe book fair (in my trusty little cube, of course!).
It's an awesome annual event, held by a school, where you can find a sh*tload of used books for ridiculous prices.

This is what I scored for 20 bucks (and a sneezing fit because of the dust):

You Shall Know Our Velocity! - Dave Eggers
A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian - Marina Lewycka
The Yiddish Policemen's Union - Michael Chabon
Tender is the Night - F. Scott Fitzgerald (1962 edition, with a bonus Xmas card from the owner)
The Brief and Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao (for ONE dollar!!!!)
As I Lay Dying - William Faulkner
A Brief History of 1917 - Russia's Year of Revolution
Middlesex - Jeffrey Eugenides
Fierce Invalids Home From Hot Climates - Tom Robbins
Skinny Legs and All - Tom Robbins

So many books (some of them very old) made my allergies act up so I had to get out before someone killed me (my sneeze? the most annoying one ever). But I scored amazingly, no?
So, don't try to reach me for a while, you know what I'll be doing - READING!
